Discover Maui's rich theatrical heritage, spanning back to 1922 when T.B. Linton laid the groundwork for the Maui Community Theatre.  Since then, visionary leaders like Sue Ann Loudon, who founded the Baldwin Theatre Guild in 1964, and Linda & Michael Takita, co-creators of the Maui Youth Theatre in 1974, have continued to shape our vibrant performing arts scene.

Their pioneering spirit, alongside individuals such as Chris Kepler, Derek Nakagawa, and David Johnston, has elevated local theater through innovative programs and increased accessibility.  Each luminary has left an indelible mark on our community, weaving a tapestry of inspiration that fuels our shared dreams and propels our collective ambitions.
